Two aircraft nearly collided on the runway at Barcelona’s El Prat Airport on Saturday.
A Boeing 767 operated by Russian airline Utair had started to make its landing on the runway while an Aerolineas Argentinas Airbus A340 was taxiing on the same path.
The Boeing aircraft had to abort its landing and landed shortly afterwards, while the Airbus headed to Buenos Aires.
The incident was caught on camera by Miguel Angel which has now had more than 2.6 million views.
It comes days after a Singapore Airlines (SIA) plane flew too close to another aircraft above the US last week, it has emerged.
NBC News reports that the Singaporean aircraft was involved in a “loss of separation” incident after taking off from Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport on Thursday evening.
The SIA pilot is reported to have failed to level off when he reached 4,000 feet (1,219m), leaving the aircraft less than 2,000 feet away from a Delta Air Lines plane that was preparing to land at Houston. An investigation is underway.
