Accor has formed a new partnership with PressReader that will enable its guests to access online newspapers free-of-charge.
The Accor Press service will be available in all Accor hotels worldwide from early 2015, offering guests the opportunity to download more than 3,000 international and local newspapers and magazines to their smartphone, laptop or tablet, on every operating system (iOS, Android, Blackberry and Windows).
Accor Press is accessible via hotel’s Wi-Fi, but once a publication has been downloaded to the guest’s device, it can then be read anywhere.
The platform also offers a range of other features, such as content sharing on social media, online commenting and content translation into 17 languages.
“With this new service Accor commits to enhance and simplify its customers’ experience with ever more innovative and personalised offers. This commitment is part of Accor’s Leading Digital Hospitality plan, which aims at integrating and redesigning digital at every step of the customer journey,” Accor said in a statement.
