Air China has announced that it will launch flights between Beijing and Milan from 15 June. The new route will be served three times a week (every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday) using a wide-body Airbus A330 aircraft. The move complements Air China’s direct Shanghai-Milan flights, which launched in May 2008. Flight time on the Beijing route is approximately 11 hours.
Zhou Enyong, General Manager of Air China’s Marketing Department, said; “The Beijing-Milan route is an expansion of Air China’s network in Europe, successfully making Air China the airline with the most European routes among China’s domestic airlines. Air China is committed to building its domestic and international network.”
