Air France is now able to offer passengers flights to Yangon, following the signing of a new codeshare agreement with Bangkok Airways.
The French national carrier currently operates six weekly Boeing 777 flights between Paris Charles de Gaulle and Bangkok Suvarnabhumi airports, and passengers on these services can now connect on to Bangkok Airways’ services between the Thai capital and Yangon.
Travellers arrive into Bangkok at 0645 and will be able to transfer on to Bangkok Airways’ 0850 flight to Yangon, which will also carry the ‘AF’ flight code. The return flight from Yangon gets into Bangkok at 0930, allowing passengers to connect to Air France’s 1045 departure to Paris.
Passengers’ baggage will be checked through straight from Paris to Yangon and vice versa.
