Air France has launched a new service to Jakarta.
The route commenced on 9 July and will now operate daily, via Singapore. Flights will depart Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport at 1920, arriving at Jakarta’s Soekarno-Hatta International Airport at 1735 the following day, including a 2.5-hour stop in Singapore.
On the return journey, flights will leave the Indonesian capital at 1930 and arrive back into Paris at 0755 the next morning, with a two-hour stop in Singapore.
The new route will be operated using Boeing 777-300 aircraft with 303 seats – eight in first class, 67 in business class, 28 in premium economy and 200 in economy.
“With the launch of a new route to Jakarta we are strengthening our presence in this expanding region and are offering our customers even more travel opportunities,” said Patrick Roux, Air France-KLM’s executive vice president for Asia Pacific.
“We also want to provide them with the best of Air France. As from the end of September, Singapore and Jakarta will be the first destinations to welcome our new La Première suite.”
The new service will operate alongside KLM’s existing Amsterdam-Jakarta route, which operates via Kuala Lumpur, as well as the Dutch airline’s daily flight from Singapore to Bali.
