The Air India pilots’ strike enters its second week today, with no apparent end in sight. Travel Daily’s Anil Mathur reported that the Delhi High Court yesterday asked the pilots’ union and the airline’s management to work out a solution. The court also charged nine pilots with contempt over their refusal to comply with the directive to return to work. The former Indian Airlines pilots are striking due to an alleged disparity between their pay and conditions and those of their Air India colleagues.
