Air India will increase the frequency of its Delhi-London route next month.
Effective 1 November 2015, the national carrier will launch a third daily flight on the route, with a new early morning departure from Delhi.
Flights will leave the Indian capital’s Indira Gandhi International Airport at 0215 and arriving at London’s Heathrow Airport at 0630. The return flights will then leave London at 0845 and arrive back in Delhi at 2235. This will complement the existing 0650 and 1445 departures from Delhi, and the 1300 and 2130 return flights from London.
The new flight will be operated using a 238-seat, three-class Boeing 777-200LR aircraft.
Including Air India’s daily Mumbai-Heathrow service, the national carrier will offer four daily services to the UK capital this winter.
