Air Tahiti expands Qantas codeshare
Air Tahiti Nui has expanded its existing codesharing agreement with Qantas.
The two carriers have been codesharing on the Papeete-Sydney (via Auckland) and Papeete-Los Angeles routes since 2000, but from July 2012 the agreement will be expanded to Melbourne and Brisbane.
“We are thrilled to announce the extension of our codeshare relationship with Qantas”, said Etienne Howan, Chairman & CEO of Air Tahiti Nui. “It means that more Australian travellers will have easy access to Tahiti, a dream vacation destination, and that our local passengers will have more travel options when they visit Australia. In addition, North American travellers will find it much easier to stopover in Tahiti on journeys to Australia.”
Air Tahiti Nui also currently codeshare with Japan Airlines, Air New Zealand, Air France and TGV Air.
