AirAsia.com integrates with Akbar Travels
Mumbai: 14 January, 2010: AirAsia, the world’s leading low-cost airline, today announced integration of its website AirAsia.com with AkbarTravelsOnline.com, the travel website operated by India’s leading travel house - Akbar Travels of India Pvt. Ltd. Guests will now be able to book AirAsia flights online from akbartravelsonline.com.
AirAsia recently launched three new routes from Kuala Lumpur to Kolkata, Kochi and Trivandrum which opened for sale on 15th October 2009. Since the opening of these routes less than two months ago, AirAsia has experienced an overwhelming response, with nearly 100,000 seats being sold. Alongwith the above mentioned routes AirAsia also operates two daily flights from Kuala Lampur to Trichy in Tamilnadu and is the first airline in South East Asia to fly directly to the city.
