The AirAsia X charity flight with Sir Richard Branson working as a ‘trolley dolly’ has been postponed until 4 July 2011. The low-cost carrier said the changed was made so as not to clash with the increased number of people visiting the UK for the long Royal Wedding weekend. The Virgin boss will don a female flight attendant’s uniform and serve drinks aboard the London-Kuala Lumpur flight having lost a wager with his friend and F1 rival, AirAsia boss Tony Fernandes. Passenger who purchased tickets for the 1 May charity flight will be given a full refund, or the option to transfer to the new date.
