Amadeus makes key UK appointments

Amadeus has strengthened its UK management team with the appointment of Clare de Bono to the role of head of Product and Innovation for UK and Ireland and Amanda Kotenko to head of UK Account Management.
de Bono will be responsible for defining large-scale initiatives as part of Amadeus’s market expansion plans, managing these initiatives from incubation to market release, and ensuring their commercial success.
Clare previously worked at STA Travel Group where she headed up a number of global initiatives, including the rollout of new online booking engines and opening STA Travel in France. She has held a range of leadership positions including general manager of Operations and Systems Development, general manager of Global Air Solutions, and UK Operations manager.
Kotenko will be responsible for leading the team that develops and maintains successful customer partnerships in the UK, aligned to each customer’s business objectives. Prior to joining Amadeus, Amanda spent 14 years at American Express where she held a number of senior roles across multiple business lines, and led key strategic initiatives for driving customer satisfaction and retention. She started her career at ExxonMobil where she held roles in sales, marketing and logistics.
