Japan’s All Nippon Airways (ANA) has launched flights to Kuala Lumpur, using its Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft.
The inaugural flight touched down in the Malaysian capital on 1 September 2015, marking the start of a new daily service that will run direct from Tokyo Narita Airport.
The outbound flights depart Narita at 1720 and arrive at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) at 2335. The return flights then leave KLIA at 0700, getting back into the Japanese capital at 1500.
Passengers from Malaysia will also be able to connect in Tokyo to ANA’s trans-Pacific flights to the US.
The launch will continue ANA’s international expansion in 2015. The airline recently doubled the frequency of its Narita-Singapore and Narita-Bangkok routes, with the addition of new daily Dreamliner flights to both cities.
ANA also launched a new direct service to Houston in June and is planning to start flying to Brussels on 25 October and Sydney on 11 December.
