A&F Aviation Co Ltd, the new low-cost carrier part-owned by All Nippon Airways (ANA), has announced the routes it plans to operate when it launches services early next year. The new airline, which will operate from its home base of Kansai International Airport, said in a statement that it will launch domestic flights to Sapporo and Fukuoka no later than March 2012, with international services to Seoul (Incheon) following in May 2012. All flights will be operated using Airbus A320-200 aircraft.
A&F this week submitted its application for an Air Operators Certificate (AOC). The application, which was lodged with the Civil Aviation Bureau of Japan’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport & Tourism, is the latest major step for the new airline as it prepares to launch commercial flights.
A further announcement is expected next month with regards to the airline’s branding.
