Archipelago International has unveiled the new Hotel NEO in Bali, which is scheduled to welcome its first guests in mid-2014.
The latest addition to the Indonesian hotelier’s portfolio of boutique budget hotels will be the NEO Gatot Subroto, located in the Denpasar area of the island. The property will offer 112 rooms, all of which are non-smoking and include such amenities as free Wi-Fi and flatscreen TVs. Other hotel facilities will include three meeting rooms, a noodle shop and laundry.
“Bali and surrounding Indonesia is seeing an increasing need for affordable hotels fully-equipped with complete facilities. The breakthrough of our NEO hotels answer this demand by offering a chic hotel concept with amenities that are usually found in more expensive hotels,” said Norbert Vas, Archipelago’s vice president of sales & marketing.
“Considering that Bali remains one of the top tourism destinations in the world, we are confident that NEO Gatot Subroto will be another welcomed addition to our NEO portfolio,” he added.
Vas also revealed that following the Denpasar launch, a new NEO hotel would be opened in the Tuban area of Bali, close to Kuta beach.
Archipelago says its Hotel NEO brand is targeted towards “savvy young travellers and Generation Y parents”. It currently has a portfolio of seven properties across Bali, Jakarta and Semarang, while future locations will include Medan, Solo, Bandung and Makassar.
