An outstanding performance by music legend Sir Elton John, an exquisite dining experience by French-born chef and restaurateur, Albert Roux and a firework display with a twist were all part of the festivities enjoyed by the car rental firm and its guests on The River Thames yesterday (Wednesday).

The group, suited and booted in Black Tie attire, kicked off the day with a Pimms reception before heading to The Riverside venue for canapés and dinner by crafted by Roux.

But the true highlight of the evening was a lively performance from Sir Elton John at The Grandstand Lawn.

It saw the spirited team at Avis Budget get down and boogie to a medley of classics, from Crocodile Rock, Rocket Man and Tiny Dancer to power ballads such as Sacrifice and Your Song.

The evening finished with a firework extravaganza and post-dinner drinks.

A good time was had by all!
