Bahrain Air to expand in 2010

Bahrain Air plans to handle one million passengers in 2010, as its adds new destinations, the Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation has reported. The Manama-based airline, which carried approximately 750,000 passengers in 2009, plans to launch service to Dhaka, Chittagong and Istanbul later this year. It is also planning to expand its fleet with the addition of two more Airbus A320-series jets in the coming years.
