The BBC has retained American Express Global Business Travel (GBT) as its corporate travel service provider after working with the company for more than 11 years.

“We are delighted that the strength of our offering has been recognised by the BBC and we look forward to our ongoing partnership,” said Elyes Mrad, managing director, EMEA, American Express Global Business Travel.
In May, GBT’s dedicated BBC Services Team was named Reservations Team of the Year at the UK 2015 People Awards. The People Awards recognise outstanding individuals and teams within and across all aspects of the supplier element of corporate business travel management.
“We continue to invest in technology and solutions that allow us to respond to the specific requirements of our clients and, as in the case of the BBC, deliver innovative solutions that help them manage their spend on air travel. We are also thrilled that the high level service we provide to the BBC has recently been publicly recognised.”
GBT will continue to provide the BBC with a range of services including travel booking consisting of air, ferry and international rail reservations, 24/7 client servicing support, strategic client management and data analytics.
