Boeing will expand its facility in Tianjin in 2013. The US$21 million project will double the size of the existing Boeing Tianjin Composites Co Ltd factory, a joint venture which produces components and parts for the Boeing 737, 747, 767, 777 and the 787 Dreamliner programmes. The expansion will increase the venture production capacity by 60% by 2013 and add an extra 300 jobs, taking total employment at the plant to more than 1,000 people.
