Cambodian national carrier buys first plane

Cambodia Angkor Air (CAA), the country’s new national carrier has bought its first aircraft, which will fly from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap, the Phnom Penh Post has reported. CAA purchased and registered the new ATR-72 aircraft last week, adding to
two leased ATR-72s and an Airbus A320. CAA operates five flights between Phnom Penh and Siem Reap, three flights daily between Siem Reap and Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC), and two flights from Phnom Penh to HCMC per day.
