Cebu Pacific to add international routes
Cebu Pacific Air (CEB) has revealed plans to launch two new international routes from the Philippine resort city of Cebu.
From December this year, CEB will commence the first ever direct flights from Cebu to both Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur. These add to CEB’s existing international routes from Cebu to Hong Kong, Seoul, Busan and Singapore.
Starting 8 December 2012, the low-cost carrier will operate twice weekly flights on the Cebu-Bangkok and Cebu-KL routes, using its Airbus A320 family aircraft.
“We are proud to launch two new international routes from our Cebu hub,” said CEB’s Vice President of Marketing & Distribution, Candice Iyog. “We look forward to providing our services to foreign tourists and overseas Filipino workers and ultimately boosting trade and tourism between Cebu, Thailand and Malaysia.”
