Chennai beaches get cleaned up for turtles

A group a volunteers has gathered to clean up the Chennai coastline ahead of the turtle nesting season, The Times of India has reported. The drive was carried out by the Students Sea Turtle Conservation Network (SSTCN) and the Reclaim Our Beaches (ROB) to provide a safe nesting ground for the endangered Olive Ridley turtles.
