Authorities in China have denied reports that a Japanese cargo plane was turned away from Dalian airport due to concerns over radiation. State news agency Xinhua, reported that the All Nippon Airways (ANA) freighter arrived at the hub in Liaoning province from Tokyo on 16 March. An airport spokesperson said the plane was quarantined and checked for excessive radiation but then left quickly due to a “tight schedule”.
