China Pavilion draws six million post-Expo visitors

A total of six million people have visited the China Pavilion in the six months it has been reopened since the end of the World Expo. Xinhua reported authorities in Shanghai as saying that the attraction, which reopened on 1 December 2011, has achieved an average of 30,000 daily visitors since it reopened, rising to 50,000 during peak periods such as the Spring Festival holiday season. An estimated 93% of the visitors were Chinese. The pavilion was a key attraction during the six-month 2010 World Expo in Shanghai, which attracted more than 73 million visitors.
