China Southern Airlines has announced plans to launch its latest Airbus A330-300 aircraft on flights to Sydney.
From 11 July 2013, the carrier will operate the twin-aisle, 275-seat aircraft on its services between Guangzhou and Sydney, offering 30 flat-bed seats in business class, 48 seats in premium economy and 197 in economy. The deployment of the A330-300 comes ahead of the launch of China Southern’s A380 on its Sydney route from October 2013.
“We are very pleased that our morning flight CZ326 from Sydney to Guangzhou will be operated by this wonderful new aircraft as early as next month,” said China Southern’s regional general manager for Australia & New Zealand, Henry He.
“It will join new A330-200 aircraft now flying into Brisbane and Perth and one of our new A380 superjumbos coming onto the Sydney run on October 28.”
China Southern’s new A330-300 will also be rolled out of the Guangzhou-Melbourne route later this year.
