China Southern Airlines’ first Airbus A380 made its maiden flight on Friday. The superjumbo, which is the first of five ordered by Shanghai-based China Eastern, flew to Hamburg from Toulouse to complete its interior fitting and painting. China Southern will become the world’s seventh A380 operator when its first superjumbo is delivered in the second half of 2011.
