Deer Jet, China’s largest VIP charter airline, has taken delivery of its first Airbus corporate jetliner, an ACJ319. The new aircraft joins an Airbus A319 already being used by Deer Jet to provide charter flights, and will be based in Beijing.
Deer Jet’s new Airbus ACJ319 features a cabin with private office/bedroom and ensuite bathroom, including a shower. Seats are configured both in rows and clustered around tables. In total, the jet can carry up to 28 passengers.
“Airbus’ ACJ319 has the most comfort, space and freedom of movement of the many aircraft in our large and growing business jet fleet, allowing us to meet demand from larger groups, as well as clients that want the best,” said Deer Jet’s Chairman & Chief Executive Officer, Liu Kaihong. “We continue to experience strong and growing demand for VIP charters, as more and more people recognise the time savings, enhanced productivity, and flexibility delivered by corporate jets such as the Airbus ACJ319.”
“Deer Jet is already well established as a leading provider of VIP charter flights in China, and Airbus looks forward to travelling many more steps with it on the path to growth and prosperity, just as we have done with the airlines in China,” added Airbus COO – Customers, John Leahy. “Both our companies are looking to the future, and combining Deer Jet expertise with Airbus corporate jet comfort and space is a great place to start.”
Airbus corporate jets already have a strong presence in China, Hong Kong and Macau, where they have won 25 sales. Airbus corporate jets are derived from the Airbus passenger aircraft and range from the Airbus ACJ318 all the way up to the double-decker ACJ380.
