The museum dedicated to China’s Xinhai Revolution will close for renovations as it prepares for events to mark the 100th anniversary of the 1911 uprising. The attraction, in central China’s Hubei province, will be upgraded from 18 February to 8 September in advance of events to mark the revolution’s centenary on 10 October 2011. Located near the Yellow Crane Tower in Wuhan, the museum marks the overthrow of the Qing dynasty by Nationalist forces.
