China CNR Corp, the country’s second largest trainmaker, has posted its results for full-year 2010, with net profits jumping 45.1% to CNY1.91 billion (US$292 million). Xinhua reported the company as saying that its revenues surged 53.5% to CNY62.18 billion. In a statement to the Shanghai Stock Exchange, CNR Corp said its earnings are likely to improve further over next five years, as the country’s high-speed rail network expands. It also plans to expand into the Australia and Eastern European markets.
