Holiday specialist Cosmos Tours & Cruises has re-launched as Cosmos, taking a new direction as it undergoes a full rebrand and develops a totally new website with an agent bookable portal.
Giles Hawke, Cosmos’ CEO, commented: “This marks a new start for us as we use our name change as a platform for growth, development and a new approach to providing our agent partners and customers with the ultimate holiday experience.
“In existence since 1961 and still family owned, our company has gone through a complete transition and we’re now in the perfect place to change the outmoded view of Cosmos and showcase the incredible range of holiday experiences we can offer our customers, as well as great ways of getting the very best value.
“Our new Cosmos rebrand has been designed to reflect the holiday experience we now offer, a worldwide choice of active experiences rooted in “adventures made easy” as demand grows for more authentic travel experiences. Our focus is based on customers’ desire to learn and experience something unique and different, and to be able to enjoy their own holiday adventure.”
Hawke said the new name, logo and branding design applies to “the whole customer journey from brochures, trade digital marketing, and social media to the website, customer collateral and documentation to highlight our promise to deliver ‘adventures made easy”.
A new ‘Cosmos Journey Line’, linking different exciting aspects and highlights of the holiday are flagged up with colourful and striking imagery with helpful icons to highlight the included value and holiday highlights.
Launching on Monday 24 April, the new Cosmos website (cosmos.co.uk) features a dedicated trade portal and a fresh design. To streamline the documentation process, Cosmos now provides e-documents. The new trade portal, cosmos.co.uk/agents will be rolled out to all agents over a two-month period with dedicated log in details provided.
Hawke commented: “Providing total flexibility, agents will be able to search for holidays, check prices and confirm bookings. This is a key development in our trade sales strategy to support agents and provide them with all the tools to work with us. In the escorted touring market, it puts us ahead of many other competitors.”
“The new portal will enable agents to make bookings at any time of day. A key factor for home workers working out of standard business hours and it also helps agents be in total control of the booking process whether they have a customer on the phone and want to quote and secure a booking there and then, or a customer in front of them, to explore a range of options easily and quickly.”
