Costa Cruises has grown its Mediterranean-based cruise product by 33 percent this year. The cruise line is set to make 2,800 calls at 92 destinations in the Med this year, with nine million passenger movements. The expansion will be supported by the line’s new ship, Costa Favolosa, and Costa’s home nation of Italy will benefit most, with the number of ports up 50 percent. Spain, Greece and France will also see more passenger movements.
