Delta Air Lines has delayed the launch of its new service between Tokyo’s Narita airport and Guangzhou from 6 April to 5 July 2011, due to the current situation in Japan. The US carrier has also suspended its daily flights from Tokyo’s Haneda airport to Los Angeles and Detroit until further notice. Flights are expected to resume later this spring. The suspension of Haneda services are part of an approximate 15-20% temporary reduction in Delta’s capacity in Japan.
