Edinburgh Airport was evacuated yesterday after a ‘potentially suspicious’ bag was found, which turned out to be no threat.
Passengers and staff have been asked to leave the terminal from 1.50pm while an investigation was carried out.
Flights during the time did not arrive or depart, with some passengers left stranded on aircraft as a bomb disposal team looked at the bag.
Cancellations and delays were in place throughout yesterday, although the airport now appears to be operating as usual.
Good morning. Edinburgh Airport is operating as normal following yesterday’s incident. Please travel to the airport as normal.
