Emirates A380 heading to Melbourne, Auckland

Emirates has commenced daily Airbus A380 direct flights from Dubai to Melbourne and on to Auckland.
The inaugural flight had senior dignitaries which included Salem Obaidalla, Emirates’ senior vice president, commercial operations Far East & Australasia; John Butler – Commissioner to the Middle East and North Africa, Government of Victoria; and winning jockey John Marshall.
The airline currently has 25 A380s in service and received its most recent yesterday alongside its 78th Boring 777-300.
Its A380s now fly to Amsterdam, Auckland, Bangkok, Beijing, Hong Kong, Jeddah, Kuala Lumpur, London Heathrow, Melbourne, Manchester, Munich, New York JFK, Paris, Rome, Seoul, Shanghai, Sydney, Toronto, Tokyo from its Dubai hub. Additional A380 destinations that are set to launch this year include Singapore and Moscow from 1 December.
