Emirates Aviation College hosted its 19th annual graduation ceremony last week under the patronage of HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al-Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive, Emirates Airline and Group. This year the ceremony was split over two days to cater for the large number of students graduating from a variety of specialised Diploma, Bachelor and MBA programmes offered by the College. The glittering ceremony, attended by VIPs, Emirates’ senior management and proud family members, marked the very first time that students have graduated from the MBA in Aviation Management programme. This particular MBA was recently established in direct response to the growing demand from students wanting to specialise in Aviation Management, as the Middle East continues to strengthen its position as a global hub for aviation.Dr. Ahmad Al Ali, Senior Vice Chancellor, Emirates Aviation College, said: “With just over 2,000 students from all over the world currently enrolled at the College and a 20% student growth rate over the past 12 months, the past year has been an extremely successful academic year for us.”
