Emirates Holidays has launched its Ski & Winter Holidays Brochure 2010-2011 featuring 15 ski resorts across six countries worldwide.In addition to ski holidays, the brochure also features winter experiences such as horse-drawn sleigh rides, Christmas markets and tobogganing.”Every year our customers’ expectations become more sophisticated in terms of what they want from a winter holiday. As always, we have taken great care to ensure every customer’s taste and budget is catered to,” said Dina Al Herais, Vice President Commercial Operations, Emirates Holidays.Destinations on offer include the alpine vistas of Zermatt in Switzerland, the snow-covered landscapes of Austria’s Kitzbuhel and the breathtaking Rocky Mountains backdrop of Aspen, Colorado.Package prices lead in at AED 3,562 for a winter break in Innsbruck. The price includes Economy Class airfare Dubai/Munich/Dubai, three nights’ accommodation with breakfast and room tax and service charges. The price is per person based on twin sharing accommodation and valid from 1 November 2010 to 31 March 2011.Package prices to Zermatt start from AED 5,974 per person and ski holidays to Kitzbuhel, start from AED 6,109 per person.Skywards members receive up to 20% bonus miles when they book hotel accommodation for a minimum of three nights. Travel insurance can also be provided by Emirates Holidays through Ski-Guard, a specialist winter sports travel insurance company that offers a wide range of benefits covering almost any eventuality, including lost equipment, airport delays, cancellation and medical expenses. In the event of piste closure Ski-Guard also covers transportation to the nearest available alternative as well as providing avalanche cover.
