Emirates teams with VisitBritain for new promo

VisitBritain has joined forces with Emirates Airline to launch a new high-end, jointly-funded tourism marketing campaign: ‘Britain. A Tradition of Luxury’, aimed at Britain’s growth tourism markets.The number of ‘High Net Worth’ individuals – wealthy people with more than US$1 million in disposable funds – grew by 17.1% in 2009 to 10 million, and for the first time there are as many in Asia as in Europe and North America – about three million.The VisitBritain and Emirates campaign is being launched in the UAE, China, India, and Singapore; aimed primarily at affluent 35-55 year old international travellers who are savvy luxury connoisseurs.Carol Maddison, Marketing Manager, VisitBritain, UAE said: “This is a very exciting partnership and we’re delighted to be joining up with Emirates Airline which matches our luxury campaign perfectly. Britain has numerous distinguished and luxurious destinations, sites and accommodation as well as plenty of fantastic events throughout the year.
