Etihad Airways has expanded its commercial agreement with Russia’s S7 Airlines. The revised deal will see Etihad codeshare on S7’s domestic services from Moscow to Kazan, Samara, Krasnodar and St Petersburg. S7 will also place its code on Etihad’s Abu Dhabi-Moscow flights, enabling single booking connections between the UAE capital and the four Russian hubs.
James Hogan, Etihad’s Chief Executive Officer, said; “The Russian regional cities are now even more accessible from Abu Dhabi and beyond on the Etihad network, thanks to the expansion of our codeshare agreement with S7 Airlines.
“We view the revised partnership as a natural extension of the successful joint operations we launched in March 2010. We look forward to continuing to work with S7 to enable passengers from all over Russia to travel to Abu Dhabi and further afield.”
