Etihad Holidays has recently launched services in Germany. The division caters for growing outbound leisure travel demand to Abu Dhabi and beyond. Germany is Europe’s largest outbound travel market, with approximately 33 million potential passengers.
The markets available to German travellers include UAE, Oman, Seychelles, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia and China, with options set to expand further.
Peter Baumgartner, Etihad Airways’ chief commercial officer, said: “Etihad Airways has a strong customer base in Germany, using our 42 flights per week, soon to be 49, out of Germany, in partnership with our equity partner airberlin. These flights will boost significantly the new Etihad Holidays Germany operations.”
In addition, Etihad Holidays products are available for travellers from Austria with airberlin, operating from Vienna and Salzburg.
