Etihad signs loyalty deal with Marriot Vacation Club

Etihad Airways has announced a new partnership with Marriott Vacation Club (MVC) for its loyalty programme, Etihad Guest.Etihad Guest members attending MVC group presentations to learn about Marriott properties during 2010, which are being held at a variety of locations across the Middle East and Europe, will earn 10,000 guest miles. Members will earn an additional guest mile for each dollar they spend on holiday ownership purchases from MVC.”This is the first time Etihad Guest has entered into an arrangement of this nature, so this partnership is adding a new dimension to our Etihad Guest program,” commented Peter Baumgartner, Etihad Airways’ Chief Commercial Officer.More than 400,000 families are counted as members of MVC, providing them access to 53 MVC-owned properties located worldwide.
