Etihad to enhance CSR strategy

Etihad Airwayshas become a member of ‘Business in the Community’ (BITC) in a bid to boost itscorporate social responsibility (CSR) activities. The Abu-Dhabi based carrieralready supports and manages projects across its network butwill work with BITC to extend its reach. “Etihad’s corporate social responsibilityprogram has expanded considerably in recent years along with our commitment toa CSR policy and plan that is wholly embedded in our business,” said AnneTullis, head of CSR and sustainability at Etihad Airways. “We will launch a newprogram this quarter which integrates the many existing initiatives andactivities already in place, and believe that access to the resources andexpertise available through BITC and the more established companies and marketswill help us fill in the gaps and make sure we’re implementing best practice onour sustainability journey.” BITC is one of the Prince of Wales’ charities.
