EVA Air launches flights to Guam

EVA Air’s new service to Guam launched on 18 June 2011. The airline is serving the Mariana Islands gateway with two flights a week from Taiwan’s Taoyuan International Airport to Guam’s AB Won Pat International Airport. EVA’s President, Kuo-wei Chang personally piloted the Boeing 777-300ER on the inaugural flight.
The scheduled twice weekly flight departs Taiwan at 10.45pm on Tuesday and Saturday and arrives in Guam at 4.40am the next morning. The return flight leaves Guam on Wednesday and Sunday at 6.10am and lands back in Taiwan at 8.15am. The regular flights will be operated using an Airbus A330-200.
