Travel 2 has reported a 12% increase in sales year on year to Asia.
Phuket and Khao Lak – both Thailand – are leading with 26 and 59% growth in sales respectively.
In response to the increased demand, the operator has added 29 new properties, 10 new extended tours, seven new cruise options and three multi-centre holiday choices, highlighting the ease of island hopping around the destination.
It has also added a “community support” programme to the brochure, which highlights properties that allow holidaymakers to support local initiatives such as helping in schools and beach cleaning. Marked with a “community support icon” in the brochure, the classification allows agents to further support their customers…
