Exotissimo invites agents on Southeast Asia fam trips

Exotissimo Travel has unveiled its 2011 fam trips, due to take place between August and November this year. The tour operator is inviting agents to join them on six itineraries across Southeast Asia, including trips to Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia and Indonesia All tours will be lead by a local expert guide and a member of the Exotissimo team. The ‘Unseen Highlights of Thailand’ trips takes agents from Bangkok to Chiang Mai with trips to the railway market in Samut Songkram, the temples of Ayutthaya, and rice planting in Sukhothai. The ‘Best of Vietnam’ tour begins in Hanoi and before travelling down the coastline through Hoi An and Hue before ending in Ho Chi Minh City. Highlights include an overnight trip to Halong Bay and a visit to an organic farm. The Cambodia trip travels from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh, including Khmer cooking classes, and a trip to the remote Cardamom mountains. The ‘Highlights of Laos’ is a compact tour of Northern Laos, including a tour of Luang Prabang on our electric bikes, while the ‘Essential Myanmar’ offering is an eight-day programme taking in Yangon, Bagan, Mandalay and Inle Lake. Finally the ‘Two Islands –Java and Bali’ tour offers an in-depth cultural look into Indonesia, with trips to Yogyakarta, Surabaya and the Borobudur Temple.
