Expedia sees 21% rise in annual profits

Expedia Inc has reported its results for full-year 2010, with net income jumping 21% to US$494.8 million. The company’s full-year revenues climbed 13% to US$3.35 billion, driven by a 19% rise in bookings. As a percentage of worldwide revenue, hotel bookings accounted for 63%, advertising and media 13% and air tickets 12%.
