FCm Travel Solutions has confirmed that it will open a fourth office in Singapore this month.
Due to start operating on 20 April 2015, the new office will be located at Westgate Singapore in the Jurong East area of the city, and will house four teams.
The company said the expansion follows significant growth in Singapore in the last 12 months. In the year-to-March 2015, FCm’s Singapore-based team has grown from 111 staff members to a team of 162, driven by the launch of its dedicated MICE business and new presence in the marine and offshore segment. And the company said it is aiming to continue a “45% year-on-year staff growth rate” in future.
“Singapore is home to a thriving maritime industry which has seen a boom in recent years and our new presence in this market, combined with our dedicated MICE offering, has enabled us to grow by over 42% over the last year,” said Suyin Lee, managing director of FCm Singapore.
“Whereas we set up a highly-specialised travel management team for the niche offshore industry sector, the launch of FCm MICE was a natural extension of the group’s corporate travel offering that resonates in the competitive MICE landscape in Singapore.”
FCm first launched in Singapore in 2008.
