Fiji Airways is adding a third weekly flight between Fiji and Hong Kong.

The third service will commence in full on 14 January 2013, following which the route will operated every Monday, Thursday and Saturday. Fiji Airways will utilise its new Airbus A330 aircraft on the route, with business and economy class cabins.

“The introduction of this third direct service between Fiji and Hong Kong will offer increased opportunities for our customers to experience and do business in this dynamic Asian gateway city. Additionally, the convenient arrival and departure times allow our customers to transit Hong Kong to the Middle East, Europe or Africa,” said Fiji Airways’ managing director & CEO, Stefan Pichler.

“With our third A330 aircraft to be delivered in November, we will continue to refine our long haul network schedule and enable more direct flights as well as connections all over the world.”

Flights will depart Nadi International Airport at 0920, arriving in Hong Kong at 1450. The return service will depart at 1655, getting back into Fiji at 0810 the following day.
