Riviera now getting ready for her 11 May christening ceremony

Oceania Cruises has released a comprehensive ‘free air’ programme available on the line’s European and Worldwide itineraries.

The free air programme is on offer from London airports only, with regional airport departures and or upgrades to business class at an additional cost .Reservations can be made through Oceania’s online booking engine, Amadeus Cruise as well as Oceania Cruises’ recently expanded Southampton reservations facility. Clients who already hold cruise only reservations will be able to now add flights to their reservations at no additional cost.

The promotion has been released as the line takes delivery of its brand new 1250-guest ship Riviera. Oceania took the ship from the Fincantieri’s Sestre Ponente shipyard near Genoa only 15 months after the launch of its acclaimed sister ship, Marina. The 66,172-ton Riviera is purpose-built to engage and inspire epicureans with 10 dining venues available onboard. The official naming ceremony will be held in Barcelona on Saturday, presided over by godmother Pat Cora, renowned chef, restaurateur, humanitarian and author. Riviera’s maiden voyage is on 16 May from Venice to Athens followed by a total of 20 Mediterranean voyages through to November
