flydubai boosts India network

Come June, flydubai will boost its India frequencies to Delhi, Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram. The airline will operate four weekly flights to Delhi from 1 June and three weekly flights to both Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram from 2-3 June respectively. This will bring total number of Indian cities to six, including existing routes Ahmedabad, Hyderabad and Lucknow.
Ghaith Al Ghaith, chief executive officer of flydubai, said: “The new flights will increase trade and tourism potential. It will also enhance connectivity for the Indian expatriate community in the UAE.”
The airline will deploy the business class product on all three new routes. flydubai operates a fleet of 36 Boeing Next-Generation 737-800 aircraft. The Delhi flights will depart from Dubai in the evening on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. The Kochi flights will depart from Dubai in the evening on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays. And finally, the Thiruvananthapuram flights will depart from Dubai on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
