Japan Airlines’ (JAL) has faced a new battery problem with its Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
According to the Guardian, JAL said the battery on the Friday (8 November) flight did not overheat or emit smoke but an indicator lit up that showed a problem.
“However, the voltage and electrical current were within normal range and there was no effect on the remainder of the flight,” the airline said.
Battery inspections continue after issues previously grounded all Dreamliner aircraft for three months.
