Garuda Indonesia has launched a series of new travel passes that allow international travellers to explore more parts of Indonesia.
The new ‘Wonderful Indonesia Travel Pass’ is split into four categories, and includes a range of special fares to different destinations across the archipelago, grouped into categories.
The ‘Adventure Pass’ is designed to showcases the “most adventurous places in Indonesia”, including Bali, Lombok, Labuan Bajo, Gunung Sitoli, Ternate, Surabaya, Banyuwangi, Sumbawa, Medan, Padang, Sorong and Bandung, while the ‘Underwater Pass’ allows travellers to explore the country’s top diving and snorkelling sites, including Bali, Lombok, Semarang, Labuan Bajo, Manado, Sorong, Berau, Ambon, Ternate, Bau-bau, Saumlaki and Sabang.
The ‘Heritage Pass’ focuses on cultural destinations, including Yogyakarta, Solo, Semarang, Surabaya, Banyuwangi, Bandung, Bali, Tambolaka, Padang, Gunung Sitoli and Makassar, while the ‘Explore Pass’ enables travellers to tailor their own travel plan, using any of the destinations in the other three options.
Garuda said the new packages have been launched to coincide with the start of its new direct flights from London Heathrow to Jakarta. There are six price levels, based upon distance travelled, and both economy and business class fares are available.
The Wonderful Indonesia Travel Pass is available from Garuda Indonesia’s sales offices and selected travel agents. It must be purchased outside Indonesia in combination with a Garuda Indonesia international return ticket.
